I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. I started dancing at the young age of 3. I trained at some of Hawaii's best dance studios. My foundation in dance stemmed from Drill Team Hawaii's guidance in learning technique, jazz, and ballet. I additionally trained in gymnastics and hula.

At age 12, I was offered a scholarship to train at 247 Danceforce, where I furthered my experience in hip hop, jazz funk, lyrical, and freestyle. After graduating high school, I danced with the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Dancers for 4 years. During my third year the football team had a 13-0 season which took them, and the dance team, to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

At 24, I moved to Las Vegas, NV where I worked as a Marketing Administrative Assistant for some of Vegas' world renowned nightclubs - TAO, Marquee, Lavo and Haze Nightclub. While working full time, I continued to dance with an all girl group called "Flip'd" at 'Tuesday Blend' events, located on the strip at the Hard Rock Cafe. Soon after, I joined Culture Shock Las Vegas (a non-profit organization). The females from CSLV created "JaneDoe," whom also selectively performed at 'Tuesday Blend' events.

At 27, I set off to LA, as my lifetime dream was to live in Los Angeles, CA.  I worked full time at Create Nightclub (under SBE) on Hollywood Blvd. I trained, and took classes, at Millennium, Debbie Reynolds, mL, Playground, Edge and IDA. I additionally became a work study at IDA (International Dance Academy).

I was able to make connections, meet, and train under their top teachers and choreographers, such as Phil Wright, G. Madison, Cedic Botelho, Reina Hidalgo, and more. When IDA decided to take away the work study program a year later, I was one of the few that got offered a job with the Musician's Institute - which IDA operated under. I danced in concept videos, at Carnival (dance show), Jete (dance show) and booked an audition of over 500 people for an episode on Hulu's 'East Los High.' Then, after many agency auditions, I got signed to Go2Talent Agency (GTA)

While at IDA, I assisted in executing Kendrick Clevor's (choreographer, teacher and close friend) vision of a dance event called 'Friday Night RAW' in North Hollywood, CA.

Unexpectedly in March 2017, my grandmother got very sick, and was put on at-home hospice care.

I decided to move my life back home to Oahu and take care of her.

12 days later, Emma Pascua passed away on May 12, 2017.

While being in Hawaii, I taught Beginning and Intermediate Hip Hop classes regularly at 247 Danceforce, and hip hop to all 4 teams at Drill Team Hawaii. While teaching at both studios, in January 2019, I assisted Marcelo Pacleb with the University of Hawaii Rainbow Dancers as an Assistant Coach. My dance journey had come full circle and I was able to give back the knowledge I gained from Vegas and LA.

September 2019 to April 2020, I lived in Miami Beach, Fl.

During my time there, I worked for the owners of Rockwell as an Executive Administrative Assistant for their brand new venue, Joia Beach. I also got hired as a dancer with Aura Entertainment.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I moved back home to Honolulu, HI as of April 2020.

dedication

**To my first students, on Oahu, thank you! I grew so much as a dancer being able to watch you execute my visions in your own unique way. I have just as much experience being a dancer and a student, then I do a choreographer or teacher. But, I continue to grow and love passing on my knowledge and sharing my energy with those that have the heart to absorb, learn and grow.

***Thank you mom. For supporting every move I have ever made. You let me go and experience life, and I am eternally grateful for such a selfless mother. I love you more than words can ever express.

My accomplishments are dedicated to my family, Emma and Jayda, my directors - Marcelo, Mrs. Young and Febray, my students, my close friends, and anyone who has supported me and helped me grow into the person I am today.

- Mahalo, Jenn
